Timeline for IBMYP - Diplomat Placement for the 2027-28 School Year
October 1 Online Application Available
Mid-Late October Notify Families of Students Currently Enrolled in SJUSD of IBMYP - Diplomat Placement Eligibility
(students may also apply online)
October 21 IBMYP – Diplomat @ Winston Churchill Information Night 6:00 PM
November 17&18 Visitation Days, IBMYP - Diplomat, at Winston Churchill MS (Students welcome - must be accompanied by adult)
Tours are approx. 30-60 mins: 8:30am - 11:00am and 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Please do not contact Churchill about tours.
November 20 Last Day to Apply On-line for All Students
November 30 Proof of Residency Due for Non-Enrolled District Residents
Report Cards Due (Not Currently Enrolled Students
IEPs Due (Not Currently Enrolled Students)
December 7 Placement Testing at Winston Churchill MS for Non-Enrolled District Residents
Not Currently Enrolled in SJUSD (4:00-6:30) Must sign-up.
January 15 Commitment Google Form Due by 4pm- Currently Enrolled Students
Early February Notify Families of Placement Status in IBMYP-Diplomat program
February 11 First Day for IBMYP-Diplomat Enrollment at San Juan Central
Campus Visitation Days:
Interested students and families may attend a Churchill student-led tour of our campus during these designated times.
No sign-ups necessary.
11/17- 8:30am - 11:00am and 12:30pm - 1:30pm
11/18- 8:30am - 11:00am and 12:30pm - 1:30pm
This informational meeting is intended for 5th and 6th grade families interested in attending Churchill for the following school year. Students and parents are invited to learn about the IB program to help them make their decision as to where to attend middle school. This meeting is typically an hour long. At the meeting you will meet administrators and the IB Coordinators, plus see general information about the IB program as a whole, as well as Churchill specific items like course offerings, clubs and field trips.
