Science Bowl

Science Bowl is a "Jeopardy" style quiz competition.  

We form teams of 5 students each and then practice to compete in our regional meet that occurs every January in Livermore, CA.

 Students "buzz" in with a hand held buzzer and answer questions orally to a judge. Science Bowl topics are always science and math related.

 Churchill was the first San Juan Middle School to form a Science Bowl team and has competed for many years. Churchill has placed as high as 2nd out of the 24 schools entered at regionals each year. 

Our Science Bowl Team were champions at the 2020 Regional Competition!

 

***Keep in mind that students can not be on both Science Olympiad and Science Bowl.
